Scott Bennett and Steve Loughran of Kimpton have been busy again, collecting Christmas trees for Nightingale House Hospice.
This year, they collected approximately 75 trees across Buckley, Ewloe, Hawarden, with additional collections in the Garden City area. They also completed four trips to the recycling centre to drop off the trees, before heading out again for more.
For Nightingale House Hospice, it was again a great success with over 1,400 trees collected and over £15,000 raised.
Sam Amis of Nightingale House was delighted “We have received so many wonderful messages from our supporters praising all the volunteers involved, thanking them for collecting their Christmas Tree. We truly are so grateful to you all.”
For Scott and Steve it was three years running and Scott summed it up when he said
“Steve and myself really enjoyed the day and had great fun, same again next year if we are asked. Nightingale House do such great work and it’s amazing to be able to support them”
